This is why it is essential to keep cutting and other processes in house as much as possible - something that is very rarely done even in other top quality butchers. To ensure that all of the cutting we do is of the required quality necessary, all of our butchers have been trained in house to the unique levels required at H. J. Edwards.

The next step is to source the best quality and locally reared livestock. Over the years we have been in business we have built up a number of strong relationships with local farms and farmers. These farmers share our passion, and we know all of our animals are looked after to the highest standards of animal welfare.

In 1983 we also acquired our own farm where we still rear our animals and can have 100% confidence in their upbringing. When combined we feel that we offer local produce provided with a level of care, skill and passion that is unsurpassable.
